We came across the restaurant by happy accident. The buffet for only $10 is filled with home goodness food. Shrimp, fish, chicken, meat loaf, stew, ribs. Veggies are wonderful as is the salad bar. Don't over eat or you will miss out on the cobblers, banana pudding & soft serve ice cream. Go early as it fills up fast!

Friendly people, local hometown diner. Who could ask for more. Price is right, prime rib was good, huge salad bar. Y'all come back now ya hear!

Need a new IPM company. Roach crawling on wall next to kitchen. You know if you see them in the daylight, they are playing a ball game at night. Tractor Supply carries a product called Bi-Fin that will get them if your IPM cant

We googled best seafood in Shallotte and Jeromes popped up. Got there early and got seated immediately in a very cool outer building. Server was great and the food was great also. The locals eat there and that is usually a good sign the place is good.

Great lunch buffet. Delicious fried chicken and fish. Many home cooked vegetable choices. Nice salad bar. Hushpuppies rock! Friendly service.

Locals seem to like this place. Check the bad reviews before going. Went with wife's family once. Nasty, smells and my steak was tough and tasteless. I do not reccomend this place.

The service was great, the salad bar has everything a salad bar should have and more, the food was good.

We visited during lunch and had the buffet. The food was standard comfort food including fried chicken, greens, etc. It was decent but nothing amazing. I did not ask for a menu, so I don't know what they offer aside from the buffet, but there was no steak and only one seafood option (fried whitefish) on the buffet. The sides were ok aside from the greens which were actually quite tasty and the the cream of something rice that was not. There were very few dessert options and they weren't replenished during our visit so we didn't try anything other than the soft serve, but that would barely come out of the machine and was borderline tasteless so even our 3yo wouldn't eat it. We visit NC every year but won't repeat our trip to this restaurant. It wasn't awful, but it also wasn't good.

So glad to be able to eat here again. Both the food and the service was excellent

This place is awesome. Went for lunch buffet and it is more food than you could ever dream of eating, but the choices were endless. Recommended to us by several locals, and already ready to go back. Fried chicken, pork chops, fish, shrimp, lasagna, vegetables, salad, dessert.. you will have dreams about this place and you will want to go back. Local customer even gave us food choice recommendations from there while we were there. Oh so good!! Talk about a good deal. . Two people can enjoy the lunch buffet with drink for less than $25. Yum!

This was the first time me and my husband has eaten here and it was absolutely fantastic. Great service, home-southern vibe, and amazing food with great portions. Will return!

Best tender steak I've ever had from a restaurant!!! I got the shrimp and steak for $19.99. came with a salad and potato. I tell everyone about this place ! (I get my steak rare♥️♥️)

Great selection of foods on the buffet. The shrimp were awesome.

Food was good, prices reasonable but this was my view at the table they put me at. Didn't even ask if the table was ok or if I wanted to sit inside or out. Needless to say I wrapped it up pretty quick and then got stuck with 6 mini cartons to take my food home

Found a hair in my salad and my supposed to be medium rare steak was well done and dry. Will never go back. Not worth your time or money.

Food wasn't very tasteful. No seasoning. Just bland. I had the bbq and it was just bland and so was my girls steak

We were tourists for the week and were going to stop at another popular restaurant. The wait was extremely long so we came here. The waitress Melissa was the nicest waitress ever. She went out of her way to please us. Played with our infant son. Just a great person, she deserves some recognition.My lack of 5 stars came from the menu. Charging $1.99 for refills after 1. That's highway robbery. I work as a general manager for a fast food chain. I know exactly what profit is made off of soda. It is incredibly cheap and even at selling ours for $1 and free refills, we still make a large profit!!! Also the menu seems hectic and not a good selection. Condense the menu and get strong at it.

Just went back tonight. Salad bar was good. Wife ordered a steak and it shows up 45 minutes later. Said printer messed up. Either way, did not seem very apologetic and did not even discount her meal at all. They were not busy. Someone just messed up.

Seriously good country cooking! The lunch buffet is different everyday, but always delicious.

Cool local spot. It felt very retro--a step back to the 80s because of the building. It looks like it was once a Western Sizzlin maybe. Everything was really clean---windows, artificial plants and a wall of mirrors, but everything is well maintained. The food was exceptional. The fried entrees were all fresh and there was plenty of it. We really liked the hushpuppies! One diner had the AYCE salad bar and was pleased. The salad bar was clean and neatly kept.We had great service from a young man.

This places use to be good but now o my ! Went a few weeks ago while family was down and one of us had a small roach crawl across our plate of food!!!! Also seen a small mouse in restroom!!!! After seeing this it was like I was then looking harder around and saw more roaches! Completely nasty !! I have a pic of it but won’t let me post the health inspectors must not know how to do there jobs!

Basic country buffet, fried chicken, fried chicken gizzards, corn, green beans, etcI got the salad, ingredients were fresh and staff were friendly.

Awesome Philly steak and cheese sandwich!!! Also don't pass up the cheeseburger it's great too. It's our new go to place for quick good food. They have a great menu (chicken, steak and of course seafood) a salad bar and good ole sweet or unsweetened tea. Good prices. Won't break the bank. You can carry out or eat in. Enjoy!

Buffet, a little less expensive than Golden Corral. Southern food cooked the way it is comfort food. Lots of fried, salty, and fattening food. Didn't look at menu. Will next time.

Been reviewing comments from other people’s visits more good than bad so I was in the area on a sales trip to the town Todd Barret Foods . So I stopped in last night for dinner. Boy was I in shock the restaurant was nice in the inside but my waitress was rude and forgot about me. Then to top that off I ordered a shrimp Alfredo and as I was plundering threw it I found a bug!!!!!!! So I should have just went off the reviews with the bug problem and have not went!! This is nasty people !!! Went to salad bar it was very nasty behind bar don’t think they sweep behind bar! Grade A restaurant I don’t understand they must clean real fast before he shows up . I’ve owed restaurants and have 3 in Alabama and this is crazy! I will be contacting the county’s health department Monday on my journey home ! And emailing the pic to them as well!
